I’ll be honest – when I am dealing with my finances, I want to do it the simplest way possible. [Read: I am lazy.] So, when I got my credit card from SIU Credit Union, I had already knew there was an easy way to make a payment – and to see what I had on it.

I don’t wait for statements, I am too much of a spaz for that. I never miss a payment because I am a spaz. And, I usually pay 2-3 weeks early.

Since I am a member and have all my accounts here, paying my credit card is super easy and convenient. And, I have NEVER logged into EZPay through Visa®. EVER. (I probably should someday, but that’s another matter.)

If you don’t read anything else, READ THIS!

This is my quick tutorial on how to pay with Visa® sweep — aka making a payment through your online banking.

1. Log into online banking at siucu.org.

 

 

2. Click ‘Transfer Money Now‘.

This will take you to this screen:

2. Decide which account you want to transfer the money from.

In this case, I chose my checking account.

3. Transfer that to ‘VISA PAYMENT SWEEP‘.

Choose ‘VISA PAYMENT SWEEP’. This should be $0.00 unless you already made a payment that day.

4. Type in how much you want to pay. And select what date you want it transferred.

You can choose today (before 5:00 p.m.) or any other day your heart desires.

5. Then click ‘Transfer Funds‘, and this nifty screen pops up!

BOOM. That’s it. You made a payment.

Your payment processes at 5:00 p.m. the day of transfer. Isn’t that awesome? How easy is that!
