    Election for Board of Directors

Elections for open seats on the SIU Credit Union Board of Directors are held at the Annual Meeting. The following nominees met all qualifications to be elected to the SIU Credit Union Board of Directors:

    • JP Dunn currently serves on our SIU Credit Union Board, ALCO Committee, and Technology Committee and has been volunteering for nearly 20 years. JP is the Learning Management System Administrator at SIU-C where he has worked for 28 years. JP has worked with the Newman Center’s thanksgiving meal since 1990 and has been the coordinator for the last six years. JP spends a great deal of time volunteering cooking for the students at the Newman Center throughout the semester and if not behind the computer he would rather be behind the stove.
    • Jeff McGoy has been a proud volunteer on the SIU Credit Union Board for several years. Jeff has over 20 years working in higher education and currently works at Shawnee Community College as the Vice President of Student Affairs. He is a native of Cairo and also serves as an actor, adjunct speech instructor, artist, and motivational speaker. “Service to others is my passion. Helping others grow and see their full potential is very rewarding.”

Nominations for the vacancies may also be made by a petition signed by one percent (1%) of members with a minimum of twenty (20) and a maximum of five hundred (500) signatures. If there is more than one nominee per open position, an election by ballot will be held. However, the election will not be conducted by ballot when there is only one nominee for each vacancy. All nominations by petition must be sent to the attention of the Credit Union Secretary and received no later than Friday, February 2, 2024.
