SIU Credit Union Announces Retirement of Branch Manager, Janet Jackson

HARRISBURG, IL – March 16, 2016 – SIU Credit Union announced today that Harrisburg Branch Manager Janet Jackson has decided to retire on April 1, 2016. Jackson’s decision to retire will bring to a close her 29-year career in financial institutions. Previous to being the Harrisburg Branch Manager, Jackson was Vice President of Southeastern Electric Employees Credit Union (SEECU) before merging with SIU Credit Union in 2013.

Jackson started her career as a teller and worked her way through head bookkeeper and head teller before becoming Vice President. Her work ethic and care has influenced her employees at the Harrisburg branch. “Janet has been a wonderful employee and we are appreciative of her dedicated service,” said Erica Pankey, Vice President of Operations. “She will be missed by our members and employees, but I know that they will join me in wishing her the best in her retirement.”

A retirement celebration for Janet Jackson is scheduled for April 1, 2016, from 11am – 1pm, with a special recognition ceremony taking place at noon. Credit Union members and the public are welcome to attend at the 777 Ford Street, Harrisburg, IL, SIU Credit Union location.
