February 29, 2016 – Carbondale, IL – SIU Credit Union was recognized as the first place winner for Best Credit Union by The Southern Illinoisan in their Readers’ Choice Best of 2015 Awards. This is the third year in a row that SIU Credit Union has won the award.
With categories ranging from food and entertainment, to people, to goods and services, southern Illinoisans had the opportunity to select their favorite businesses in the area by voting online.
SIU Credit Union President/CEO, Dennis Schafer along with Karli Feldhake and Leah Weil, members of the Marketing Department, accepted the award for the Credit Union at a reception on Friday, February 26, 2016. “We are honored and thrilled to win this award,” said Schaefer. “It’s a great feeling to know our members value and appreciate our service.”
