SIU Credit Union Announces Executive Promotions

August 1, 2016 – Carbondale, IL – SIU Credit Union today announced several promotions within the company’s senior management team.  Sandy Taylor, formerly Assistant Vice President of Finance, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance; and Karli Feldhake, formerly Marketing Director, has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing.

Ms. Taylor joined SIU Credit Union in 2007 and has previously served in various accounting positions including Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager.  In her new role, she will oversee the finance department which consists of accounting, card services and bookkeeping.  Additionally, she will assume responsibility for the financial management of the credit union including financial reporting, budget preparation, and investment management.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management (1988) and accounting (1992) from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale.  Over the years, Taylor has volunteered with Carbondale Junior Sports, Seeds of Life Ministries, and avidly supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She resides in Makanda, IL with her husband of 35 years, Lee.

Ms. Feldhake joined SIU Credit Union in 2011as the Marketing Director.  In her new role, she will be responsible for all facets of the credit union’s marketing department including development and implementation of the strategic marketing plan, public relations, advertising, and promotions management.

She received a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in 2000 along with recently receiving the Credit Union Certified Marketing Executive (CUCME) designation from CUNA (Credit Union National Association). Feldhake volunteers for the American Heart Association, Centerstone of Illinois, and is actively involved with Vine Church in Carbondale. She resides in Carterville, IL with her husband, Mark, and three children.
