SIU Credit Union Opens Second Branch in Marion

SIU Credit Union is pleased to announce the opening of its newest branch location in Marion, Illinois.

Located at 105 W. DeYoung St., this second Marion facility reinforces the credit union’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality financial services to its growing membership in the region. The addition of the DeYoung Street location means members in Marion and the surrounding communities will now have two convenient branches to choose from for their banking needs.

This expansion is designed to streamline the member experience, offering more touchpoints for personal service, loan applications, and everyday financial management. “We are incredibly excited to open our second location in Marion and better serve our members in this growing area,” said Mike Lantrip, CEO of SIU Credit Union. “The Marion area is a significant part of our membership, and by increasing our footprint at 105 W. DeYoung St., we are thrilled to become an even bigger part of the local community. This new location is a direct response to our members’ needs for convenience and excellence in service.”

The new branch features modern banking technology alongside the personalized service SIU Credit Union is known for. Whether members are looking to open a new account, discuss different loan options, or utilize drive-up services, this new branch is prepared to assist with the same member-first philosophy that has guided our institution for years.

The lobby hours for this new branch will be Monday-Thursday 9:00AM-5:00PM and Fridays will be 9:00AM- 6:00PM. The Drive-up will open at 7:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Thursday and 7:30AM-6:00PM on Fridays.

SIU Credit Union invites the public to visit the new location and explore the full suite of financial products available to residents and workers in Southern Illinois.
