Craft Promoted to Carbondale Branch Manager

March 3, 2016 – Carbondale, IL – Robert Craft has been promoted to Branch Manager at SIU Credit Union’s Carbondale West branch located at 1217 W. Main Street, according to Erica Pankey, Vice President of Operations. Craft will be responsible for providing operational leadership to branch staff, including staff development and retention, and delivery of outstanding service.
“I am very excited to announce Robert’s promotion,” said Pankey. “Robert has excellent leadership skills and prior banking experience that will allow him to best serve our staff and members.”
Craft was previously the float Member Service Representative, serving all branch locations as needed and has nearly 3 years prior experience with financial institutions. He is retired from the United States Army and is currently pursing a Business Administration degree from McKendree University. Additionally, he is involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3455 in Anna.
“I am very excited to join the SIU Credit Union management team,” said Craft. “My staff and I look forward to increasing our presence in the community and building strong relationships with our members. We want our members to know that we are truly working for them.”
Craft resides in Anna, IL with his wife and two children.
